Privacy policy

We're a very small creator in Cornwall. We collect as little about you as we can, and we never sell it.

Who we are

Superweapon Audio is run by Michael H Dicker, trading as Superweapon Audio, 54 King Hill, Bude, Cornwall EX23 8QH, UK. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Email hello@superweaponaudio.com with any privacy question.

What we collect, and why

When you buy
Your name, email address, country and order details, so we can deliver your download, send receipts and meet tax rules. Checkout, payment and downloads are handled by Moonbase, our reseller; we never see or store your card number. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and legal obligation.
Update emails
If you buy Drum Unmixer, we'll email you when a free update is ready, because it's part of what you bought. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
News and new products
Only if you tick the box at checkout. We'll occasionally email you about new Superweapon Audio tools. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email us and we'll take you off the list. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The plugin
Drum Unmixer doesn't connect to the internet and sends us nothing. There's no activation and no tracking.
Support emails
Whatever you choose to send us, so we can help. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Website visits
We don't use analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
The web demo
The Drum Unmixer demo runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you do in it is sent to us.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: Moonbase (checkout, payment, downloads and emails), Netlify (website hosting) and Zoho Mail (email). Some of them may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK law. We don't sell or rent your data, and we never send marketing unless you've ticked the box for it.

How long we keep it

Order records for six years, because UK tax law requires it. Your email for update notices for as long as you own Drum Unmixer, unless you ask us to stop. Support emails for two years after the conversation ends.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly needed, such as running checkout. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, so there's no cookie banner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@superweaponaudio.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
